#Activating a phone

#I am getting a new phone number

Joining is a simple and fast process. Before you start make sure your phone is compatible with our service. In order to activate your phone it will need to be a GSM compatible phone. You will also need to have a Boss Wireless SIM card which has an ICCID number printed on it.

Your new device must be unlocked.

If you purchase a phone from a third party and it fails to connect to our network contact the seller right away so that you can arrange for a refund.

If the phone belongs to you, you will need to contact your carrier to resolve this issue.

Before you buy a phone make sure it’s coming from a trusted source. Any phones that have ever been classified as lost or stolen will not activate on BOSS Wireless.

Once you have this information ready click “Join Us” from our home page and follow the directions. Since you are getting a new phone number be sure to enter accurate information so that we can assign you a phone number with the proper area code. You should be ready to save money with BOSS Wireless in just a few short minutes.

#I am keeping my phone number

Joining is a simple and fast process. Before you start make sure you have your phone is GSM compatible and you have a Boss Wireless SIM card. You will need the ICCID number printed on the SIM card.

You will also need to make sure you have your Phone number, account number (sometimes your account number is your phone number) and PIN of your current mobile provider. If you don’t have that information you will need to contact your provider to get it.

Do not power the phone on until you get confirmation that your phone number has been transferred.

Once you have this information click “Join Us” from our home page and follow the simple directions. The registration process should only take a few minutes to complete but transferring your number will take a little bit longer. Usually it only takes about 2 hours. Mobile numbers though sometimes take up to 24 hours and landlines could take up to 7 days.

We will update you with the status of your activation if you provide us with an email address during registration or by following the on screen instructions at the completion of sign up.

While you are waiting for the phone number to be transferred your phone will not work.

#I am already a BOSS Wireless customer and have a new phone

If you are already a BOSS Wireless customer and you want to switch to a new device simply move your Boss Wireless SIM card to the new device.

Your new device must be unlocked.

If you purchase a phone from a third party and it fails to connect to our network contact the seller right away so that you can arrange for a refund.

#Completing Activation

After your activation is complete, turn your phone off, then power your phone on. If it connects to the network, you are all set and ready to use BOSS Wireless.

Depending on your phone you may need to use a Special Code To Reset the Network. (SCRTN). Don’t worry, an SCRTN, also known as a carrier wipe, will not erase any information from your phone.

Performing an SCRTN is easy and only takes a minute. Enter the appropriate code from the list below into your phone’s dialpad. The phone will reboot a couple of times as it resets to our network. These codes will be slightly different depending on your phone.

Allow your phone a few minutes to fully restart.

On some iPhones a Network Update may be needed. On some iPhones a Carrier Update may be needed. For more information see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201270

#Coverage

#US Coverage

BOSS Wireless offers coverage throughout the United States. Enter your address to check coverage in your area.

#Roaming

BOSS Wireless does offers domestic roaming. However if your roaming is excessive we will contact you and reserve right to remove your roaming capability.

#International Roaming

BOSS Wireless does not offer international roaming services. However, if you are traveling and have access to WiFi you can continue to make calls using the BOSS Revolution mobile app.

#Rates

With BOSS Wireless the rates are a simple. There are no contracts, no tricks, no hidden fees or taxes.

#Login

Log into your account from our web page. In order to login in you will need to enter your phone number and the 4 digit security code you were sent when you signed up. If you don’t remember your security you can request that we resend it from the login page.

#Manage My Account

Once you are logged into your account you can access and edit your personal details and credit card information.

#My Usage

When logged in to your account you can see the usage of your current weekly billing cycle as well as prior ones.

#BOSS Revolution Mobile App

The Free BOSS Revolution mobile app can be downloaded at the app store on your phone. The phone calls you make using the mobile app will save you money. Dial from the app whenever you can to avoid airtime charges and save. See Rates for more details.

#International Calling

#How do I make a call?

With BOSS Wireless you can dial directly from your phone. See Rates for more details.

When making an international calls dial + or 011 then the country code and phone number.

#International Plans

BOSS Wireless offers international calling plans in addition to the regular rates. See information about our current international rates and plans.

#Voicemail

Your voicemail services will be active when you open your account. The first time that you call voicemail you will be taken through a voice mail set up process.

#My device is lost or stolen

If your device is lost or stolen call customer service immediately. Customer Service will be able to suspend your account until you either find your device or get a new one.
